Surrey buses are a joke!

If you live in Surrey, British Columbia or even had the misfortune of having to ride the buses here then you probably know what a joke the bus system is here.

The only streets that even have half descent bus services are King George Highway, Scott Road and part of 72 Ave. All other streets have buses running only 1 or 2 hours apart and most don't even have evening bus service.

This is not intended to bash the bus drivers as they are only doing their jobs. It's the person who plans the bus schedules who I am about bashing here.

We keep seeing promises to improve the bus service here in Surrey but instead of improvements we see service cuts and fare increase.

Most buses in Surrey don't even run after 6-7:00 PM. Some even stop running at 3:30-4:30 PM. Some also don't even start running until about 10:00 AM. This is ridiculous. Especially the ones which go through the industry parks where people need to take the bus to work.

They keep telling people they should ride the bus to work but they don't even provide adequate bus service for us to get to work.
